IT'S FINALLY FINISHED!!!
After leaving it too late i was worried that i wouldn't be able to get my self-portrait finished in  time, but i spent ALOT of time on it and i managed to finish it in around 10 hours!!!
I sent it off to Kings Place Gallery, London, yesterday, im excited and worried now to see how i have done! I am up against some BIG BIG BIG NAMES!

Dalai Lama

I did this painting to practice doing colourful portraits as i am entering a big portrait competition at the end of the summer.
This painting is going into a gallery in Hull this weekend, its going to be an ART RAVE (!!!) how exciting? And its going to be jam packed with DJ's ! My painting will be going up for £150 if anyone is interested ? :D

A Few Flickr Favorites.

Aela Labbe
Erin Purcell
Eni Turkeshi

Just a few testers.

I hate hate hate taking photos of myself but as i practically live by myself i usually have to for test shots! :/
I am quite pleased with the way that these 3 imagesturned out though, but unfortunatly i had to decrease the file size because the wouldnt load so i have lost quite alot of the origional colours that i had, but they are just to show you what my plans are for my project except my final piece will be a short film with the same types of colours as these photo's :)

MARCELO GOMES.

This set of images are beautiful, almost dream like.
I find it very interesting that she never shows the persons full body this has a really mysterious effect, and once again...i am deffinatly going to have a go at some of these :D

LAUREN TREECE.

These images by Lauren Treece are some of my ideas of perfection. I stumbled across her work the other day whilst reasearching artists that i wold like to study.
The photos are so delicate and beautiful, and the colours are mesmorising!
LOVE IT.

If you pop into the woods tonight...

YOUR SURE TO GET A FRIGHT.

These are a set of images that I took foor my photography exam titled 'Mystery and imagination'. I took them with the aim of showing the unexpected. When walking through a dark wood i always have a fear of stumbling accross some surreal situation. Of course this has never actually happened to me, but i bizzarly wish that it would!
So these pictures represent my imagination...enjoy...... :D
